Hello, my name is Allisa Chilton. I live in southwestern Wyoming. I started scrapbooking in 1995. I became a Close To My Heart Consultant shortly after. Scrapbooking soon lead to card making. I think I have now reached paper hoarder, stamping addiction status! I started blogging in 2011, which has lead to my new addiction of entering challenges. I love to make Christmas cards. Creating Christmas cards all year round is so relaxing vs. the holiday rush! I can't wait to see all of your holiday creations!

My name is Beate – better know as Beacarona in blogland, I’m 35 years old, married and live in Hamar, in Norway. I have been making cards for about 5 years, and this hobby is just great! I’m not sure what to call my style, but I use a lot of roses, ribbon, lace and distressing on my cards and boxes, and I sew on nearly everything I make. When I’m colouring stamped images I prefer Promarkers, and sometimes I use H2O.

Hello, my name is Denise. I'm from the Bay area of Massachusetts. I'm a Wife, Mother of 2 teenagers, a Visiting Angel, an Alzheimer's Educator, an Administrative Assistant, a Manager, a Retired CTMH Consultant, an Occasional Scrapbooker and a Passionate Cardmaker. My creative area is in my basement and lovingly referred to as the "Craft Cave". I no longer scrapbook for myself but will for others. I relax by making handcrafted cards. I'm very excited to be on the CCAYR DT for the next 6 months.

I have been married for nearly 24yrs and have two girls aged 21 and 19, two border terriers and a cat I started making cards as a past time with my daughters during school holidays and after the girls grew up I carried on as it became a passion, especially stamping.

June Challenge

Another month has come and gone and it's once again time for another challenge.

This month our theme is:

TWINKLE-TWINKLE Christmas Lights

Ok so that's this month's challenge taken care of.  Last month's challenge saw some fantastic entries once again, thank you to all who entered.  As we will be awarding a top three as well as our random winner, I will be taking an extra day to sort through all the entries and come back to announce the winners.

We've also had our DT call running for the month of May.  Some fantastic entries were received so a big thank you to all who applied.  The decision will be made and successful applicants contacted over the next couple of days.  Once this has been done I will be back to announce the new DT members.

Hi Everyone! It's time once again for another Design Team call.  

We're going to add a few spots to our design team as well as some guest designers for the July to December term.

If you love creating and sharing your Christmas cards and would like to join our fun little group, then all you have to do is link a Christmas card that you've made within the past 6 months.

If you would like to be part of the fun, but don't want to commit to the full six month term, just put GD after your name and we will only consider you for a Guest Designer spot.

The Design Team call will run through until midnight on May 31st US Central Time.
