January 2012 Challenge!

Happy New Year Everyone and hope you had a wonderful evening!  We wish you all the best for a happy, healthy and prosperous 2012!

And with the new year and the beginning of another month, we also have another challenge...  A non-traditional colour challenge, but could also be combined with traditional colours, so think pink, purple, orange etc.
And as a bonus challenge - use some kind of embossing (dry, heat, etc). We know not everyone has the tools for embossing, so don't want to prevent people from playing, but it might be a fun one to add if you have the tools/product!

Merry Christmas Everyone!

Just a quick note to say hi and that we hope you had a wonderful day with your family and friends celebrating the holiday!  I'm sure some of you were good enough to have Santa visit as well! 

Bet there were also lots of people gushing over all the wonderful cards you ladies have made over the year and we're looking forward to seeing more!

First of all, we'd like to thank all of you that are interested in the design team here and put your names in for it!  So much talent!  I've been sick for about two weeks and am therefore a little behind on things, but Lesley and I will try to choose the new people for our design team quickly and let you know!

December Challenge - Already!

OK ladies, how's everyone doing with those cards?!  Are you finished for this year?  If not, this is a great chance to get things finished off and if you're done for this year, then there's no time like the present to get started on next year's cards!!!

We have a SECRET!

DT Call!

Hi Everyone! It's time again to put out a DT Call for January 2012 - June 2012.

We're going to add a few spots to our design team as well as some guest designers.  There, unfortunately, isn't compensation other than all the glory of sharing your cards and inspiring others!  As well, you get a lot of cards made for Christmas the following year!!!

All you have to do is link a card that you've made within the past 6 months. We will close the DT Call on November 30th at midnight. Good Luck!

October Challenge

OK, we all know that there's another "holiday" in October and that's Halloween. So... your Christmas cards this month need to have at least one of what are considered Halloween colours (orange, green, purple, black). We'd also like to see a punch or die cut somewhere on your card and this can mean regular punches, Spellbinders dies, border punches, something that was purchased pre-done, etc!
