To make a Christmas Card Gift Box you will need:
~Envelope box
~Glue
~2 sheets of Christmas paper
~Embellishments to finisht the box
1. Start with an empty envelope box.
2. Carefully open it up and spread it out.
3. Spread glue all over it and place the first sheet over the box. Then trim it around.
4. Place the other sheet on the box. Trim that piece around. I don't usually do the bottom flaps but that's up to you if you'd like to cover them.
5. Once it's dried, carefully fold your box again. Mine tore a little when I folded it, but I added some glue on the edges and spread it over with my finger. Once it was dried again, I added some distressing ink on the edges and it covered it up and gave it a nice touch. Glue the box together again. I usually use clips to hold it in place for a few minutes. When that's dry, glue the bottom together. You are ready to embellish it as you wish.
Tomorrow, I will show you the cards I made using the scraps left over from the patterned paper I used to cover it, along with 3 sheets of cardstock and some other embellishments. These cards will go in the box and will make a great gift for a loved one!
